IRCAD / EITS was created in Strasbourg 15 years ago. The creation of the Institute resulted from the combined synergy of the University of Strasbourg, private companies, and local authorities.
On an international scale, more than 3000 surgeons come to Strasbourg every year to make the most of our unique training courses. The exceptional involvement and self-commitment of more than 600 international experts is key to the institute's success.
